Family owned and operates, this restaurant is the perfect place for dinner, drinks and dessert in the Smokies.

A Restaurant With History

Before becoming a restaurant, The Greenbrier served as a bed and breakfast for forty years. Known as the Greenbrier Lodge, this authentic log cabin was a popular destination for hunters, travelers and vacationers in the Great Smoky Mountains. In 1980, Dean and Barbara Hadden purchased the Lodge and converted it into the Greenbrier Restaurant. Today, the restaurant is run by their son David Hadden, his wife Becky and their son Jordan.

Stellar Menu

The Greenbrier Restaurant offers a diverse menu that draws from a variety of culinary traditions. The appetizer selection features the classic French dish Escargot Ala Bourguignon, snails served in mushrooms caps smothered in garlic butter, and the Southern favorite, Deep Fried Lobster. Entrees include tilapia, shrimp, steak, trout, chicken, pork and lobster. The Greenbrier is also famous for its selection of homemade salad dressings. Be sure to save room for dessert, because The Greenbrier’s strawberry cheesecake and chocolate brownie sundaes are simply irresistible.
