Before becoming a restaurant, The Greenbrier served as a bed and breakfast for over 40 years. Known as the Greenbrier Lodge, this authentic log cabin was built in the 1930s and quickly became a popular destination for hunters, travelers, and vacationers in the Great Smoky Mountains. Many people speculate that The Greenbrier is haunted by several spirits, the most famous being a jilted bride named Lydia.
