SMO is a lifestyle and an attitude. The people of SMO reach beyond comfort and overcome challenges. We love our jobs. We love providing great experiences and memories.

Just like Percey, our bear mascot who survived the Flood of Hurricane Helene, we are all safe and looking toward the future. Our hearts are broken for everyone affected by this unprecedented flood and filled with the help and support of our friends and volunteers.

Though buildings were lost, we will persevere. Rebuilding has already begun.

We plan to reopen for the 2025 season. Bear with us and check back often for progress reports.

For those who haven’t visited us yet, it may be helpful to know our rafting outpost is located in Hartford, TN, along the Pigeon River, a short drive from Gatlinburg. We’re happy to report that our Gatlinburg office remains unaffected.

We also want to reassure you that while some nearby communities were also impacted, Sevier County (including Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg) is fully open for visitors. The businesses, attractions, and accommodations in Sevier County are ready to welcome you for your vacation.
