Smoky Mountain Outdoors run 8 person Self-Bailing Riken Rafts. (One of the Leaders in the Industry). These are 6 chamber boats with inflated floors so that no bailing is required. Falling out is a very rare occurrence due to the design of the Riken Pioneers. Each boat consists of 1 guide & 6 or 7 passengers. You'll be assured a safe & enjoyable ride in these boats.

Rapid Ratings
In the Eastern United States the rapids are based on a scale from 1 to 6.
Class 1 - easiest
Class 6 - roughest

On the Big Pigeon River, you'll get to run:
50 class 1 and 2
14 class 3
4 class 4

Cancellation Policy
48 hours before trip for groups of 9 or less
1 week notice required for groups of 10 or more
